SUSTEC is focusing on green technologies to reduce the environmental impact of existing technologies. SUSTEC has developed a process they call 'REGMAX' to overcome existing problems with mixed acid pickling and its regeneration. According to SUSTEC, the REGMAX process enables total recovery of all waste acids components: The process is applicable for all metal and acid concentrations and gives freedom of choosing the optimum pickling conditions for best pickling performance. The closed material loop minimizes the operational costs and environmental impact of pickling.

The Qpinch Industrial Chemical Heat Transformer is capable of recovering industrial waste heat from 75 °C and turn it into new process heat (e.g. steam) up to a temperature of max. 230 °C in a CO₂ neutral manner.  Qpinch says that the solution is applicable on a megawatt scale throughout all major industries such as chemical, food etc.  The company also claims to have the lowest total cost of ownership of all commercially available heat-producing technologies.

CarbonCure manufactures a technology for concrete producers that introduce recycled CO2 into fresh concrete. In a process known as CO2 mineralization, the CO2 is converted to a mineral and becomes permanently captured. Best of all, CO2 makes concrete better.
